According to a research carried out by the professionals in Zekeriyakoy area within the context of branded properties, it has been announced that the sales price per unit square meter in the region is changing in a wide space between 2.800 – 22.000 TL.
Determining property projects’ mainly region average at 8.585 TL/m2 in 2015, the report also says that Zekeriyakoy will attract more and more attention with the completion of the Third Bridge in the following months.
It is known that Zekeriyakoy has been in such a radical changement period since the year 1987 and it has gained a lot of speed since the 90’s. And after the major Marmara earthquake, it has become an important center of attraction in the region. Zekeriyakoy is mostly preferred by high – income group of Istanbul who wishes to be close to the city center but live in a peaceful place at the current moment. With the upcoming projects, it is no doubt that there is a great demand for luxury and good quality villas and housing estates in the region.
In addition to all these, the value of the district is rising thanks to the infrastructure projects. With the Third Bosphorus Bridge and Cayirbasi – Sariyer Tunel, the land and the property projects’ value has raised a lot and more people from this high – income group have started to be interested in buying property in Zekeriyakoy. According to “2015 Istanbul Branded Properry Sector Report”, the price in Zekeriyakoy has rised up to %26 in 2013, %23 in 2014, %13 in 2015. When looked through these property prices connectedly, there has been a rise up to %75 and when done research in throughout Istanbul between 34 regions, Istanbul has ranked 12th in the meaning of increase in value.
